… hydroelectric power stations on the Rabbies, the local mountain river, which were mostly rebuilt, renewed and renovated. The completion of this cascade formed the Rabbies 4 power station, which was officially commissioned in August 2016. The small hydroelectric power station was equipped with two identical vertical Francis turbines from Tschurtschenthaler. Today, the turbine duo generates around 2.2 million kilowatt hours. This means an increase in power generation of around 30 percent according to the operators. A real milestone achievement for Malè, the capital of Val di Sole. After all, the municipality is now able to claim complete self-sufficiency in energy.
